The daily planner that remembers

Know your day. Forget nothing.

Capture what matters, plan it on your calendar, and start each morning with one brief: what’s scheduled, what’s due, and what’s back for a decision — including the things you captured weeks ago.

For thoughts you mean to act on, not lose in a list.

How Stranza works

From thought to a day you can act on.

Nothing gets scheduled behind your back — the brief proposes, you decide. In most planners, anything you don’t date sinks into a backlog you stop opening; Stranza carries a next-time-you’ll-see-it on every item, dated or not. How is Stranza different from Todoist or Apple Reminders?

Steps 1–2 · Capture the thought · Give it a place

Capture now. Sort later.

Capture a thought in seconds; make it a task, an event, a note or a reminder now — or sort it from your Inbox later.

Not sure? Just capture — sort it later.

Inbox3 to decide

Everything waiting on a decision — new captures first, then anything you parked that has come back.

New · 3

    The keyboard works right here: C captures from anywhere; on a focused row, 1 Task · 2 Event · 3 Reminder · 4 Note · 5 Drop.

Step 3 · Plan — and know your day

    Your day in one place

See events and planned tasks on one grid: drag a task from the rail to give it time, then move or resize its block.

    Step 3 · …and know your day

A daily brief, before your day starts

Each morning, at the time you choose, Stranza sends one notification about what’s scheduled, what’s due, and what’s back for a decision; the same brief also appears on Today.

    On your phone

    In the web app

A weekly edition, Sunday evening by default, looks at the week ahead.

Step 4 · Return to loose ends

Nothing you capture is ever silently forgotten.

Tasks you captured but never scheduled, parked things and notes due a review come back on their own schedule — back for a decision. Keep what matters, let go of what doesn’t; nothing is cleared behind your back.

    Notes that come back

Ideas, checklists and journals live beside your tasks — filed in folders, found by tags, and carrying a return date when you want one.

    • 💡 Trip to Vilnius — plan? · returns Sep 26

    • Sourdough starter notes

The interactive notes demo needs JavaScript — these are the same notes as a list.

Folders carry a purpose: Ideas come back on a 30-day cadence by default, Reference stays quiet, Journal holds dated entries. Notes join tasks in the brief when they have no return date — unfiled and undated is a state the product asks you about.

Your data stays under your control

    • Export your data

Tasks, captures, notes, folders and projects — JSON or Markdown, one click. JSON adds your profile, briefs and event notes. Reminders and attachments aren’t included yet.

    • Real deletion, after a 30-day undo

Deleted tasks, notes and captures stay recoverable for 30 days. After that, their records are permanently deleted — not hidden.

    • No ads, no analytics

No ad-tech, no analytics scripts, no trackers — not on this site, not in the app.

    Frequently asked questions

How is Stranza different from Todoist or Apple Reminders?

They will remind you about the things you gave a date to. The difference is what happens to everything else: Stranza carries a next-time-you’ll-see-it on every item, including the ones you never dated, and returns them in your brief with a back-off so nothing nags forever.

Will it plan my day for me?

No — by design. Stranza suggests what to do with your time; nothing is scheduled or moved until you decide. If auto-scheduling tools felt opaque, this is the deliberate opposite.

Do I have to connect my calendar?

No. Stranza works on its own. If you want, it reads your Google Calendar and your iCloud calendars, so your events and your plan sit in one place. It does not write to them.

Is Stranza available now, and what does it run on?

Yes — Stranza runs in your browser today, on your computer and your phone, and you can add it to your phone’s home screen. Continue with Google or email; that creates your account if you’re new. Native iOS and Android apps are in development.

    Does Stranza work offline?

Added to your home screen, Stranza opens offline and shows what it already loaded — your day stays readable. Making changes needs a connection.

    What happens to my data?

It lives in the EU (Stockholm), encrypted in transit and at rest by the storage provider. You can export your tasks, notes, captures, projects and briefs as JSON or Markdown any time. Deleted tasks, notes and captures stay recoverable for 30 days; after that their records are permanently deleted.

    What does Stranza cost?

Nothing today — creating and using an account is free. Future pricing hasn’t been decided yet.
